PUBLIC NOTICE
Admission for March/April 2017 Intake through Central Admission System (CAS)
The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a statutory body established under the National Council for Technical Education Act, Cap. 129, to oversee and coordinate the provision of technical education and training in Tanzania. Under the establishing Act, in order to attain and maintain the status of a training provider, all institutions are required to be registered, accredited and have their curricula approved by the Council. Institutions are not allowed to admit students and start offering any programme without the approval of the Council.
The Council has received requests from Technical Institutions offering Certificate and Diploma programmes to have March/April 2017 Intake for the academic year 2017/2018. The Council, has therefore decided to make a public notice to inform all Institutions offering Certificate and Diploma programmes intending to have March/April 2017 Intake for the academic year 2017/2018 to submit their intention. The March/April 2017 Intake is meant for Certificate and Diploma programmes only.
The request for having the March/April 2017 Intake should clearly specify:
- The number of students enrolled in the requested Certificate and/or Diploma programme who are registered as first year for 2016/17 academic year;
- Capacity of the institution in the requested programme;
- Empty slots that need to be filled in order for the institution to acquire full capacity; and
- Whether the college has enough infrastructure and staff to manage two intakes.
Please be informed further that, Central Admission System will be open for applications from 23rd January 2017 to 6th March 2017.
The submission of notice of intention and commitment for having March/April 2017 Intake for the academic year 2018/2019 should reach the Council by 15th January 2017.

Kozi yoyote ya afya unaweza kusoma ila kwa sababu ya level yako ya elimu utalazimika kuanza na certificate.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Technical Certificate in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement (TCWLE) Course:
Candidates must have completed and passed secondary in Ordinary level (O-level) in four subjects with C in both Biology and Geography Candidates with Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination
(A.C.S.E.E) or an appropriate equivalent Certificate/Diploma obtained from a college which is fully
registered by NACTE with credits in Biology and Geography at O-level will have added advantage.
Candidates with a Basic Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement NTA Level 4.
Candidates should be certified physically and mentally fit by a recognized physician. This is due to the fact that the course entails paramilitary training
2. Basic Technical Certificate in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement (BTCWLE) Course:
Candidates must have completed and passed Ordinary level (O-Level) with at least four (4) passes
including passes in Biology and Geography or
Holders of a three-month short course certificate in wildlife management and law enforcement of
PWTI or possession of National Vocational Award level III(NVA III) in relevant field from
recognized institution registered by VETA
Candidates should be certified physically fit by a recognized physician. This is due to fact that the
course entails paramilitary training.
3. Three-month Special Course in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement:
Minimum requirement is for the Candidates who completed and passed Ordinary level (O-Level)
with at least four (4) passes. Candidates with passes in Biology or Geography have added
advantage.
NB: Sometimes minimum requirements for Special course raises depend on the number of
applicants while the Institute has limited number to students to be registered for Short Course
Program.
Candidates with standard seven plus relevant work experience in the Wildlife sector, WMA’s,
District Councils and NGO’s. This is qualification is only for Building Capacity Special Course in
Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement.
FEE STRUCTURE:
COURSE AMOUNT (TSHS)
Technical Certificate in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement (TCWLE) – 3,000,000.00
Basic Technical Certificate in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement (BTCWLE) Course: – 2,800,000.00
Three-month Special Course in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement: – 1,861,000.00
NB: The fees include full boarding, uniforms and tuition fee (field trainings).

Mie nlihitimu mwaka 2013 na kupata IV ya 38 uk nkiwa na D ya Kisw,Bioz,Eng na Geog uku masoma mengine yote matano Phyz,Chem,Math,Hist na Civ nkiwa na E.
Mwaka jana nlifanya PC na kupata IV ya 27 uk nkiwa na C ya Engl na D 6 na F mbili ya Phyz + Chem.! Nilikua naomba ushauri wenu juu ya kozi ya kwenda kuchukua.

Ili kujiunga na chuo chochote katika ngazi ya certificate ni sharti uwe na angalau D nne na kuendelea, kuhusu kozi ni juu yako kuchagua kozi unayoipenda (Ndoto yako unatamani kuwa nani ndiyo itakayokuongoza kozi ya kusoma)
